The Security Technician role is responsible for both internal and external support.
This position provides for onsite maintenance, installation, commissioning and after sales service in accordance with the company’s contractual obligations.
The position is both customer facing and internally focused and requires the individual to take a leadership in delivering the highest quality service to our customers. The holder will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of security systems, equipment provided or adopted by us.
Responsibilities and Duties
✓ Assist in the scheduling and delivery of contractual agreements
✓ Accountable for new equipment and installations and upgrades
✓ Accountable for the execution of planned maintenance and callouts and repairs
✓ To be able to demonstrate and have a detailed knowledge how to integrate, stall and maintain all
aspects of technology and products supplied in-house
✓ To oversee and manage small projects through to successful and timely completion
✓ To execute and deliver any other reasonable duties as directed by management
✓ The job will entail travelling around UK, Spain and other company destinations to assist and support international projects and post-sales support
✓ Responsible for accurate reporting to work performed
✓ Accountable for promoting and maintaining relationships with customer and end users
✓ Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in the Security Industry.
✓ Nearby greater London Area.
✓ Be able to successfully communicate with work colleagues and provide clear and accurate
information, both verbal and written.
✓ Ability to work flexible working hours, travel to and from a range of locations and will involve overnight
stays around UK, Spain and other company destinations to assist and support international projects
and post-sales support
✓ Driving license
✓ Self-sufficient to overcome technical issues with a ‘can do attitude’ with the ability to think outside of
the box
✓ Ability to adapt and overcome hurdles and challenges in extremely challenging circumstances
✓ Strong understanding and experience in various CCTV, IP and Analogues systems including DVR
and NVR’s
✓ Networking experience. Network configuration, VLANs, Bandwidth Management experience preferred
✓ Ability to understand technical, electrical and mechanical drawings pertaining to the equipment and
systems being worked on.
